Korean animation artist, Yonghwa Choi, received a BA in Visual Information Design from Ewha Women’s University in Korea and another BA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she was awarded the Silas Rhodes Scholarship. Yonghwa’s striking short film, “We Are All Here,” has been screened at multiple national and international film festivals, including at the Singapore International Film Festival and the Alaska International Film Festival. She has received numerous awards for her striking evocative work. Yonghwa has worked for acclaimed studios Psyop and Curious Pictures in New York City on commercial design work for AT&T, American Express, and Converse. She currently resides in New York and continues to bring freshness and creativity into her animation world.
